KALPETTA

Kalpetta is a town in the mountainous Wayanad region of Kerala, South India. It’s a gateway to the trails of lofty Chembra Peak and to Neelimala Viewpoint, which overlooks waterfalls and forested valleys. North of town, the traditional, Dravidian-style Ananthanatha Swami Jain Temple is perched on a hilltop surrounded by coffee plantations.

Kalpetta is a town and a municipality in the Wayanad district, state of Kerala, India. Kalpetta is the headquarters of Wayanad district as well as the headquarters of Vythiri taluk. It is a bustling town surrounded by dense coffee and tea plantations and mountains.

Myladipara View point Wayanad

Myladipara otherwise spelt as Mailadipara is located near the Kalpetta town. A short drive to the new bypass road the deviation will take to a narrow road through a colony. After a point, the road ends and you have to take a trek to the top of the rock.

Puliyarmala Jain Temple

Dedicated to Saint Ananthanatha Swami, a well known Jain saint Puliyarmala Jain Temple is an ancient place located 4 km north of Kalpetta.Believed to be built in 13th century, the place is also known as Tipu's Fort named after Tipu Sultan who used this temple to store ammunitions.
